LA FONCTION BIOLOGIQUE DE L'IMAGINAIRE

 Résumé:

L'humain transforme le monde en images, telle est son essence. L'expérience sensible que nous avons du monde, première avant toute parole, transforme le monde extérieur en images polysensorielles et affectives qui, déposées au fond de l'être, vont constituer son imaginaire personnel. L'imaginaire comme recréation incessante du monde extérieur est au centre de l'être, il est la terre natale de la pensée et de l'activité onirique. Pour André VIREL, l'activité onirique se manifeste non seulement dans le langage du rêve mais aussi à l'état de veille, dans nos activités créatrices. Comme Edouard CLAPARÈDE a émis l'idée de la fonction biologiquie du rêve, André VIREL parle de la fonction biologique de l'imaginaire.

The human being turns the world into images, it is their essence as such. The sensitive experiment we have of the world, before they can speak, turns into polysensory and emotional images which, deep in the human being will build their imagination proper. The imagination as a continuous interior recreation of the external world is the core of the human being; it is the native soil of the thought and the dream activity. For André VIREL, the dream activity appears not only in the language of the dream but also in the waking state, in our creative activities. Like Edouard CLAPARÈDE put forward the idea of the biological function of the dream, André VIREL speaks about the biological function of the imagination.
